Regular One-Way Fare

When you pay your fare, you may ask the operator for a free transfer card if your trip requires using two GoTriangle buses. If you get a transfer card on a regional route and need to transfer to an express route, you will need to pay $0.75 on the express route. (GoRaleigh, GoDurham, and GoCary do not accept GoTriangle transfer cards.)
Discount Fare
GoTriangle offers a discounted fare for customers who have a Medicare card and for persons with a disability. Seniors 65 and over are fare free. Youth 12 and under ride for free and are not required to have a Youth GoPass. Teens aged 13-18 can ride free with the Youth GoPass.

Passes
Use a pass to save time and money while riding the bus! You can purchase passes online and have them mailed to you. Passes are also available for purchase at the Regional Transit Center (901 Slater Road, Durham), and one-day passes can be purchased on buses. (Tell the driver you want to purchase a day pass before inserting money into the farebox.)

Buying Passes at the RTC
The Regional Transit Center service desk (located at 901 Slater Road, Durham, NC 27703) accepts cash (no bills over $20), credit/debit cards, money orders, and cashier's checks. No personal checks are accepted. All pass sales are final and are nonrefundable. Lost, stolen, or altered passes will not be replaced. Damaged passes can be returned to the Regional Transit Center for replacement. For more information about the Regional Transit Center call 919-485-RIDE (7433).
Shipping Information
GoTriangle charges a $1 shipping and handling fee for each transaction. Once you pay, our Customer Service representatives receive immediate notice of your purchase, process and mail your pass(es) within one business day.
Please note: If you buy your pass(es) using an eCheck, GoTriangle will not ship your pass(es) until the eCheck has cleared, which typically takes three to five business days.

NC By Train Transit Pass
NC By Train is partnering with local transit systems, including GoTriangle, along the Raleigh-to-Charlotte rail corridor by offering a pass to help you reach your final stop via public transportation. Passengers aboard Piedmont and Carolinian trains may request a transit pass from conductors while on board and present it when getting on the transit partner's bus. The pass is valid for one ride and one transfer only on the day of travel. Learn more here.
